Buildings that
Shaped the Nation
BROCHURE LAYOUT | TYPESETTING | ILLUSTRATION
INDEPENDENT CONCEPT PROJECT
BRIEF
Design a tour brochure using abstracted/conceptual images inspired by the architecture of the featured buildings.
DESCRIPTION
Buildings that Shaped the Nation is a tour of historic landmark structures in London's annual Access Architecture Weekend.
DESIGN
Upon opening the double gate folded brochure, one is introduced to six minimal, illustrated renditions of the tour buildings. When the manual is fully extended, smaller versions of the icons are shown in conjunction with the attractions' information. Additionally, the graphic elements are placed on a simple map that serves as an engaging way to give the reader a sense of their location.
