Wash Your Hands

CLIENT: i-Reroute

During the hight of New York Cities Covid-19 shut down in March 2020, I was asked by airline watchdog i-Rewrote to write and produce a funny song and video spreading a message of safety.

Two Brooklyn roommates stress the importance of washing your hands in this satirical yet truthful public service announcement.

Given the situation, it was necessary to create this project with the resources available at home. My Roommate at the time was TV screenwriter Ross Wade. As Ross is a capable songwriter and vocalist himself, we were able to write, record, and shoot the music and video in a single weekend. All musical tracks were performed and recorded by us in our apartment, as was the video footage, shot on an iPhone. The video has been viewed on YouTube nearly 50,000 times.

Tidying up our space while studying at home is important to give us a clearer thought process, increased confidence, and abilities as we navigate through the opportunities of remote learning during the quarantine period. Marie Kondo, bestselling author of books “The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up”, “Spark Joy”, and “Joy at Work”, and star of Netflix show “Tidying Up with Marie Kondo” shares tips on how to help students eliminate clutter and make space for study that really matters while learning remotely. Using the world-renowned KonMari Method, this will help students overcome the challenges of studying at home and enjoy the productivity, success, and happiness that come with a tidy space and mind.
